Coolers, Tents, and Pets
Can I bring a cooler?
- Yes, you can bring a small cooler. It will be checked when you drive into the venue, or if you come through the gate as a spectator. No glass bottles.
- You can bring your own snacks as well. Please keep your area clean and use the trash receptacles. You can also bring your own bag to leave by the trash cans to make it easier on the cleanup crew.
Can I bring a tent?
- Yes! Texas Motor Speedway allows tents, but you must have them properly secured. The track requires at least 25 lb weights on each leg of the tent.
- The way the infield is set inside the oval creates a constant breeze and gusts of wind. If your tent is not properly secured and blows away, you are solely responsible for any damage to other people or their vehicles.
- Your tent must be directly behind or in front of your vehicle. You cannot use spaces beside you where cars will need to park.
Can I bring my dog?
- Only service dogs are allowed. You must bring your own cleanup kit so there are no surprises for other guests.
- Dogs must be on a leash. No exceptions.
Parking
Where do I park?
- Spectators not driving a Mopar into the infield: Park in the designated lots outside and walk in.
- Showing your car: Follow the signs to the Showdown Parking lot.
- Indoor VIP: Find your spot in the first garage. Staff will direct you.
- VIP Row: Find your spot on the row in front of the garages. Staff will direct you.
- Not in the Showdown, Classic Corral, or VIP options: Park in the South Paddock, the first lot to your right as you drive through the tunnel.
Can I save spaces for my club members?
No. If you want to park together, pick a meetup spot and roll in together. To keep traffic moving into the infield, we have to park cars so there are no gaps in the designated parking space.
Registration and Wristbands
Where do I pick up my registration and wristbands?
- Friday: Marriott Champion Circle, starting at (time to be announced).
- Saturday: Marriott Champion Circle, starting at 7 AM.
What are the wristband rules?
Wristbands show both Mopar Heaven and Texas Motor Speedway staff that you have checked in and have your credentials. They must be on your wrist before you line up to drive into the venue, and everyone else in the vehicle must have one too. If they aren’t on when you get to the gate, you will be turned around and have to get back in line to drive in. No exceptions.
If you lose a wristband, it cannot be replaced. You will have to buy it again, if any are still available.
